A THOUSAND THEOSAND is a series of zines designed for use as adventure tabletop RPGs in Southeast
Asia's shared cultural background, which includes the regions called Indochina and Suvarnabhum-
Sutalah/Jungleman. The project draws on material cultures from Indonesia to create unique stories
that mix elements such as mythical creatures with modern day settings like rice fields or villages
built out of straw bales made by locals using traditional techniques in Southeast Asia's shared
cultural background, which includes the regions called Indochina and Suvarnabhum-Sutalah/Jungleman.
The project involves both Mun Kao (Centaur Games) who is a freelance artist based at home on
Vancouver Island, Canada as well as Zedeck Siew from Germany whose research notes for this zine were
published by us under the name of Thoonsand and are also available to read in printable format.
