To play you will need one standard deck of playing cards with the Jokers removed, one 6-sided die, a tumbling block tower, and some way to record journal entries (e. pencil and paper, audio/video logs, twitter, oil paintings, etc) If you don’t have access to a block tower, alternate rules using dice, in place of the tower, are included.
