Humanity has spent over 600 years in self-imposed exile on a planet recovering from an environmental catastrophe that wiped out most life forms beyond their ability to maintain the bunker systems holding them at bay and eventually some began returning to reclaim what had been lost due too this cataclysm. This game takes place during these times, with dinosaurs now ruling much of North America including New York City! Humans still try living in big cities or rural areas but they must watch where they walk since the dinos don't always like their human kind's food supply and have become quite territorial over it as well as oil and other resources.The game features a streamlined version of Forged in The Dark, incorporating dinosaurs into post-apocalyptic settings with an emphasis on survival horror elements such as monsters lurking around every corner or crevasse you come across.
