Brave Extreme is a stand-alone game set in the magical island of Extremia, inspired by extreme sports and famous characters like Tony Hawk's character from his skateboarding games. The game features 5 new playable occupations (skater, roller skateskatee/biker, scooter or surfer) with their own signature tricks that can be used to complete quests in the city. Players must use a Showdown mechanic where they compete against other characters for control of different areas and perform acrobatic jumps between buildings on top of them as well as defeating bosses like dragons using only extreme sports techniques such as skateboarding, surfing or BMX riding. The game includes an island with new enemies to battle including rival crews that can be defeated by performing combos together in the city's showdown mechanic called "showdowns." Players will receive experience points for completing quests and increasing their levels when they reach certain thresholds while also unlocking unique items such as bandanas, helmets or even a banana peel. The game is designed with illustrations from Brazilian artist Felipe Oliveira Costa to make it more visually appealing in Brazil where the itch funding system can be challenging due to lower costs compared to other countries like US/Canada that have higher rates of inflation and transaction fees.
