BREACh is a tabletop role-playing game set in a parallel dimension where strange happenings are common occurrences and economic disasters may occur without warning or explanation. The Ministry of the External has created various agencies to respond with limited funding for civil servants who have failed their tasks, causing internal politics that hinder effective response efforts. Players take on roles as bureaucrats given responsibility over mitigating disaster impacts while preparing for worst-case scenarios in a world not too distant from current reality due to parallel dimensions threatening fabric and economy disruptions caused by strange happenings beyond explanation or prevention; this playtest game is open only during the public testing phase, with full rules available afterward.
