Delvers in Darkness
THIS DOCUMENT PRESENTS AN ALTERNATIVE WAY TO CREATE AND PLAY CHARACTERS FOR D&D 5E BY SIMPLIFYING THE PROCESS OF MAKING A NEW COMBATABLE OBJECT OR NPC, REDUCING GUILT FEELINGS WHEN CONSTRUCTIVELY WRONGDOING IT. 1. The goal is to streamline and simplify character creation by doing away with skills, alignment or backgrounds in favor of race simplification (though still more complicated than the races presented below), class/archetype reworkings as well some simplified classes such as bards being given an extra archetype that only requires a single skill at level 1.2-3. Races are somewhat streamlined and aligned to different cultures, while others follow traditions or have unique abilities in certain areas (such as the elf's ability to speak with animals). 4-. Classes now have less archetypes due to class/archetype reworkings; bards still being given an extra archetype that requires a single skill at level 1.
