The story takes place in a futuristic world where humans have developed hyperspace engines that allow them faster transportation through space than ever before seen on Earth, but this technology has also opened up the possibility of interstellar travel. Both socialist and fascist forces are vying for control over energy sources found throughout various star systems as tensions rise between these factions to determine who will emerge victorious in an upcoming war against another extraterrestrial race called The Voidians.
