It involves four planes - airship islands floating above clouds; marine realms below the sea level where sailors go about their lives; an empire that is ruled by either faith or fear and which has its own military structure involving state armies fighting each other as well as pirates using naval vessels to smuggle contraband goods across borders, merchants dealing with tariffs set at varying rates. The world's geography includes vast continents in the west where explorers seek uncharted wilderness while encountering natural disasters caused by volcanic eruptions or earthquakes that change landscapes and societies according to their effects on people living within them through social classes like peasants who live a simple life versus nobles whose wealth stems from trade, industry or politics but can quickly be destroyed.
