The player takes on the role of Piuk in "Wands & Lasers", an action-packed solo adventure game that combines elements from cyberpunk dystopias with fast-paced gameplay mechanics inspired by video games like Street Fighter and Tekken, as well as tabletop gaming. The objective is to defeat rival gangs using various weapons ranging from lasers (lasers!) to swords made of diamond studs while avoiding traps such as electrified floors or moving blades that come out at random intervals in the game's world map setting on a dystopian cyberpunk future Earth-like planet with high fashion psychopathic tendencies. The player can interact and communicate one on one, but is encouraged not play alone. WANDS & LASERS has been released as an early access title since 2017 January 1st (which was also when it launched for PC) by the developer, 'The Art of Making Games' founded in 2016 June 24th with a team consisting entirely of artists and designers rather than programmers or engineers. The game is developed on Unreal Engine 4 which makes use of "GitHub Pages" as its source code repository because there's no official website set up yet for this project although the developer has created an account through GitHub, but it could be down at any
