The game involves playing tarot card draws to determine which solution sphere is appropriate for a given scenario and using that answer in combination with additional drawings from different spheres to generate new situations throughout gameplay.Pioneers (Tarok) is an adventure-style solo roleplaying game where players take on the roles of adventurers exploring uncharted lands, trying out various skills or specialties they may come across during their journey through a variety of scenarios and environments ranging in difficulty levels from beginner's to advanced ones. The goal for each player as pioneers who are setting up new communities is similar: survival while bringing newcomers (people) into the game world so that you can protect your small community against various dangers such as bandits, wild beasts or hostile weather conditions like storms caused by wind and heavy rains in some parts of the map but with a twist to make it more challenging.
