The gameplay includes making choices that lead you through stages where players address challenges faced in each period, balancing satisfaction among citizens and governing decisions for success of their regime's objectives with varying outcomes such as diplomatic agreements, communication technology advancements, global events/tensions impacting your country causing conflicts between other countries influencing the world powers or technological advances changing future scenarios.The game continues until achieving either a set time limit to reach an objective goal like creating social change in revolution and evolution of political system over several periods with different characters' attributes as well as acquiring new responsibilities leading you towards success/failure outcomes that affect your country's stability, international relationships or even global events influencing the world.
