The game is set in an alternate version of Earth where magic exists alongside science-based technology called Tzimisce Technology or "Tzi". The players are members of different factions, including goblins and wyldlings who seek to gain power through magical artifacts. A war between these groups breaks out after one faction captures a precious artifact that is guarded by another group's ally from the time period in which it was created. It becomes an event where both sides must choose whether they will fight or join forces against their enemies, as well as determine how best to exploit and control the city of Lewys for themselves before others do so first. +++
