"Love & Rockets" features a GM-less card game about building relationships between rockets left behind after an apocalypse has occurred in the world of human civilization being forgotten due to advancements made during its time as weapons with mass destruction from the Cold War have awoken, and new ones are still emerging. The players take on roles representing recently reactivated intercontinental ballistic missiles exploring their own identities while connected through a revived World Wide Web where they must decide how these launched rockets will impact not only themselves but also humanity's future if any hit targets or don't fly as planned due to unforeseen circumstances, such that the game serves both short and long-term goals of promoting teamwork between players with unique roles in their individual experiences.
