After either failing or succeeding the challenge, the second team will then play a Ritual card of their own, forcing the first team to do it. Each team will be able to choose from three Ritual cards and five Curse cards as they put together the most dastardly combinations to stump the rival cultists. Every subsequent round, an extra Curse card will be played alongside the Ritual card.
