The big black is an area between the planes that can be explored in this RPG supplement for classic RPGs like Swords & Wizardry or Labyrinth Lord systems. It's home to Dreamhaven, where adventurers might stop on their travels through a new plane and encounter unique creatures with powers of psychics such as psionics. Planar Compass offers four different classes (psionic ranger/cleric), 40+ psyonic abilities for players who wish more versatility in gameplay choices at the table or want options beyond traditional spells from earlier editions, three small-scale adventures to test new skills and knowledge without a large group setting up camp inside an already existing dungeon complex. The supplement also includes 60 pages of rules with plenty of information on how Psionicists should behave when adventuring while keeping their powers hidden as they navigate the world between planes in search for adventure or treasure before returning home again, each zine page being approximately 6-8 inches by 8 to 10 inches (depending upon printing press). The supplement also includes a player's booklet with tips and hints on how Psionicists can make full use of all 40+ powers from their booklets without revealing them too early in the game.
