Hesitaion at The Gates is an innovative roleplaying game that combines Tarot, trick taking resolution system and character building rules to create unique characters with lifelong goals. It also offers players a mystical order of Seekers where they work together within the Order for shared resources in politics, magic or monsters crafting spells and wondrous inventions utilizing intuitive card-based conflict resolutions and powerful arcana cards from tarots infused Renaissance by Jabari Weathers. The game features an expansive city-state setting with adventure opportunities presented through a mystical order's headquarters building relationships to NPCs create unique character skills like sword fighting engineering spell weaving, as well as magic artifacts crafted in the Order lab using only tools provided for GM and player collaboration making it easy even non-gamers can be drawn into this world of wonder.
