The Game of Smoke & Fire is a card game for friends that involves creating unique characters living in diverse factions. The player starts by drawing cards from an expanding deck with various prompts and abilities before playing them onto their hand to create the character, which belongs to one faction or another through three categories - smoke (recognition), fuel (behavior) and fire (reason). Each turn also includes bidding other players' card ranks for characters tied into that same player's factions. The game features rules on generating factions online along with supplemental options such as solo play, random faction generation using different portraits like not-yet colored ones or adding them to the map of a community in BeaK Feather & Bone Engine format and more.
