The Great Soul Train Robbery—zine edition
In this tabletop roleplaying game, players take on the roles of desperate souls who are hired by a mysterious figure (the "game master") for an alluring train heist. The player's character is part truck driver and one mischievous member among 10 other characters they will meet in different levels during their journey to reach Hell Station 1-4. Each level can be completed multiple times, with the game designed so that every time a new car is visited on the way up or down (or even when there are random events like encountering lost souls), each player has more chances at collecting prizes hidden around them and progressing through different areas of danger to reach their final destination —a train station. Players' stats include Lover for human connections, Sinnerer for selfless acts versus violent ones; they also have access to guns in a variety of settings such as kitchens or laundries (with Pinkerton guards patrolling the area). The game is set on an allegorical western-style setting and uses "Honesty Heist" system.
