In an effort to reflect on current times in my country that seem dark with no light at all, I found hope by reading "Write To the Future" essay where Georgiana Escobar imagines impossible futures becoming possible ones through making them happen and being a Maker. This reminded me of how one can be hopeful when imagining something improbable or even seemingly impossible as they have already made it so in their own way; thus, I began to feel hope again for what the future may bring after my current challenges pass by with ease.
