Your divine patrons have made it known that they expect you to handle yourselves well, lest you be disgraced in the eyes of gods and mortals alike, and that you are not to turn this town into a smoking ruin or to the centre of a new cult to your name. You strike out against terrible monsters and challenge the most deadly and overwhelming foes in the name of glory and renown, in hopes of one day attaining godhood yourself.  You have been called to a town to deal with personal matters that have little to do with heroism or divine glory.
