When players wanted more Blaseball flavor, I expanded it to create Advanced Siesta #Blaseball. As it exploded in popularity, so did the servers that hosted it, leading to the game's first Siesta. Similarly, the rules include a link to the official Patreon because it had just been launched by the Game Band to help cover the expanding server costs of the game.
