Heroic Tales uses dice rolling and fantasy elements with a simple ruleset for quick playtime without complicated mechanics or complex learning requirements (for solo use). The Character Expansion provides additional species/abilities options; the GM Expanded Rulebook offers advanced rule expansions such as Alchemy & Spellcraft. Solo Tales, while not required to start playing this game, includes an Appendices Collection with more items and rules for crafting characters in-game or using them during battles if desired by some players (e.g., Facilitator Rolls). The Online Roll Dice Generator can be used as a web app option when the final version is ready.
