The player takes control of a seeker who has been exiled to Hexenwald and must survive against hordes of undead monsters while trying to protect the frontier town Terminus from their dangers, loot ruins if they wish but should not be fooled by false promises that might come with them. The game is quick-paced combat between these two opposing forces where only few will make it out alive or die on behalf of humanity in protecting its future against an ancient evil lurking at the edge of civilization and beyond the shadowed forest Hexenwald, as you can choose one from 6 archetypes to play such a brave seeker adventurer. ---
