Second Guess: Going Over
In Going Over, you take on the role of the ultimate underdog in professional wrestling: the unsung hero of the independent circuit, fighting for a handshake and a hotdog in front of dozens (upon dozens! ) fans, navigating the weird politics of the locker room and finding every opportunity you can do give yourself to the big, stupid thing you love: professional wrestling. Did you make someone mad backstage? Did you screw something up so bad in front of the fans it can never be forgiven? Did you bring something completely new to the table to shock and amaze them? And most importantly, when the final bell sounds, is it your hand the referee is raising when all is said and done? Going Over is a Second Guess game, created for the Second Guess Jam hosted by Gamenomicon, and is a loving parody/tribute to local-level independent wrestling. Each session has you journaling your character's last match, reflecting on what went right, what went wrong, and everything you're still trying to figure out.
