In the city of Nightside, a young faerie named Amara discovers that she is being hunted by human hunters called "Hunters," who are determined to capture or kill any non-human beings in sight. With no allies among humans due to her appearance and lack of powers like magic users such as mages do, Amira must rely on the help of other creatures including faeries from an underground society known only as The Seven Sisters to survive until dawn when hunters become less likely to venture out into their territory before sunrise or risk getting caught in traps set by one of them.
