As this game functions mainly as a multiplier solitaire type player experience, there are optional dice drafting rules designed to create a higher level of player interaction for those playing with a smaller player group. You wont need any extra dice. Games should last no longer than 30 mins, and once you've played once I'd expect the normal game length to be around 20 mins (Excluding the dice drafting variant which needs more dice/time).
