This RPG draws inspiration from ancient Chinese mythology and Daoism, allowing players to explore and interpret the lore behind the Sì Xiàng (Translation: Four symbols, Four Gods, Four Guardians, Four Auspicious beasts), which appear among the Chinese constellations and correspond to the four cardinal directions of the world. Created by Arik Chong and Zoe Chen Missing Guardians, elemental powers, and a world in chaos — restoring balance to the realm is in your hands!   Ecliptic Peril is a world building game based on the map-labeling RPG Beak, Feather, & Bone. The overall goal is to create a collaborative narrative for the Ecliptic Peril universe, determining your own lore and backstories for each nation and its Guardian, in order to discover the secrets of the realm.
