Welcome to Starborough City, a seemingly endless urban sprawl steeped in centuries of mysticism and strangeness, inhabited by monsters in disguise, unfathomable horrors, officially sanctioned chthonic cults, super-science, and average joes, all crammed together, living semi-harmoniously inside an inescapable metropolis where the lines between reality and impossibility blur. Take on the role of a unique operator inside the titular city, such as a Monster Hunter, an Occult Detective, a Vampire, a Cultist, a Cryptid, or a Candleman, and use your incredible skills and abilities to complete frightening challenges. All of you have been ordered by the Shadow-council to solve a weird issue affecting them or the city, which is decided by the GM, who narrates and conducts the game.
