The focus of the game is to help players tell stories with their friends by combining baseball and anime into a single TTRPG! From taking stressful midterms to fighting for your spot at Nationals, Play Ball! gives you the tools to live out your dream as the main character of a sports anime! Play Ball! gives you two styles of play to facilitate the most comfortable experience for your table. There's the primary style which provides plenty of unique mechanics to give you a fun game with lots of crunch to account for the many variables of play that can come up in Baseball. Play Ball! started off as a quick set of mechanics to facilitate a sports anime campaing and quickly evolved into a full game over the course of just two days.
