The story follows a group of adventurers who find themselves stranded on the island colony called Cy, where they encounter dangerous terrain and hostile inhabitants. However, their luck changes when an unusual corporation named GENEMED is introduced to them in order solve problems related with genetic manipulation for increased lifespans which lead into debt due to its high-cost rates that makes most people unable or unwilling to pay the monthly payments of Repossessions agents who are employed by and work exclusively on behalf of Genecorp. This story focuses mainly around a group known as "Adventurers" (which include six characters each) traveling in this world, along with their personal stories which range from being skilled hunters/fighters into traders or even just ordinary people looking for adventure to escape the mundane life they are living before reaching Cy and its dangers
