The Dark is a solo tabletop roleplaying game that explores themes related to memory loss in relationship-driven horror games set against an eerie forest backdrop filled with supernatural creatures like tendrils wrapped around trees or the encroaching darkness, The Darkness. It includes card play and dice mechanics along with candles as primary tools for gameplay while adding layers of storytelling through characters' relationships between their loved ones that are lost to them due to a harrowing experience in which they're consumed by an unknown force lurking among the shadows in the forest setting.
