We Used to Be Friends is a collaborative teenage detective drama game that involves creating characters, setting up city-wide mysteries for each player's teen population as well as personal ones. Players can choose one of nine character profiles and explore interwoven plots involving their own storylines while also contributing to the overarching mystery season arc throughout play sessions lasting at least ten months with various episodes featuring different suspects or themes ranging from love triangles, political intrigue to even a murder case.
