Inkwell Abbey's illuminated manuscripts are known for their unique illustrations and full color maps, but there is one exception in Brother Albert Fonng who adds strange monsters that have no business being drawn on his book covers or pages. The monks of the abbey believe this has been due to sorcery by another brother named Fong whose work they cannot understand anymore as he once was a monk like them until something went wrong with him, and now all animals in his manuscript look happy at first glance but also become enchanted creatures. As Fonng's magic is not recognized within the monastery walls or among their peers except for Albert who has escaped into hiding after an attempt on himself to make new friends by throwing inkwells while jumping out of a window broke, they need help from outsiders including those in neighboring villages and even some wizards sent at random if they can find any. It will take four days until the armies arrive with their weapons before taking revenge against Fonng's people for bringing danger into Inklinga where magic is banned by law unless approved through an official trial or a specific request to be granted permission from higher officials in charge of magical matters, and even then they are not permitted near certain sacred sites.
