In the deep deep woods in its valleys and vales are the folk who live in the forest, with the forest, despite the forest. Even should they leave, the forest remains with them. From The Forest Deep is a collection of 36 professions or character backgrounds: short equipment packages for the inhabitants of an unnamed, just slightly sorcerous forest.  Also included are descriptions of the spells and small magics named in several of the entries.
