The story is set in one or multiple cities that were affected by anomalies during and after cataclasm, resulting in ghosts as inhabitants who have lost their humanity due the distortions caused by these anomalous events. Only Nocturnalia remain to survive within them now; they are alone with no people left but for themselves, leaving behind a city of which is not safe anymore because it was destroyed or damaged from that very chaos brought on after cataclasm and anomalies distorted everything in their wake.
