The Killing Stone
The Killing Stone is a tabletop role-playing video game where players take control of characters in different time periods with their own unique stories based around themes such as warlording feudalism or spirit possession through the use of simple mechanics like dice rolls at 4, and "shih" meaning death. There are four character archetype options to choose from: ancient ones played by every player while modern ones can be an expansion for when more players join in on a game day. Each archetype has their own unique skill that impacts gameplay with bonuses based off of certain circumstances triggered through signature complications if they fail specific tasks, and the world is governed by techno-fascist warlord leaders where spirits are present but not explicitly stated as being involved unless rolling 4s which become Haunted characters struggling to get beyond this state.
