Out in the Darkness is a horror-based tabletop roleplaying game set on an alien spaceship that serves as both setting and character creation platform for players to take part in scenarios run by experienced authors, providing them with pregenerated characters from which they can choose their roles or create new ones. The system utilizes ForgeD In The Dark engine along with light borrowing of External Content Bureau guidelines; it also includes tips on surviving the horror-filled story while still being a well rounded adventurer.
