The game makes a few changes by: - Adding skills - Firearms, lasers, and plasma weapons - Mechanics for breaking armor - Interesting classes like the wasteland warrior, the caravaneer, the bastard, the doctor, and the gunslinger. - Backgrounds like a human, mutant (with mutation tables including being a conjoined twin), revenants (irradiated humans that look like zombies and live a long time), and robots.
