Goeblin Market is a tabletop role-playing card game in which players collaboratively create their
own characters, draw cards from decks representing various magical creatures or events that affect
them on solstice nights. The group plays with an ensemble of four to six people and decides whether
the story will be set at summer or winter holidays while determining where they belong socially as
well. Characters have feelings about not belonging in a home world (a "leaving" event), but also
desire acceptance from other worlds by connecting over storytelling, trading goods/services for
services like cleaning their homes with them on solstice nights ("food"), and making friends that
the group feels comfortable around throughout all of Solsiticus. The Facilitator can read through
pregame cards beforehand to enhance gameplay in long-distance groups or play out specific events
depending on game settings, but no GM involvement is allowed except for facilitating character
interactions as a narrator if everyone has their own deck and they're playing over the internet
remotely while sitting next to each other at your table.
