Midway through their journey in "Hollows Thicket," characters come across a towering tree with thick roots and high branches that house homes for forest creatures such as mushrooms and books inside various-sized shelves built from recycled twigs, vines, and branch fragments. A central hollow entrance allows them to enter the library where they discover rows of stacked volumes held within the massive trunk itself along with an elaborate spiral staircase made up entirely out of vine growth winding upwards towards higher levels on which only more foliage can be seen by climbing further down or upward into unknown regions at last hidden from view as if in a secret forest sanctuary. 1.
