Based on real-world research on the source of Viking weapon-steel, and set in Jutland around the year 1000, this is a linked pair of scenarios for a Nordic, Viking-feel setting, such as  Saga of the Icelanders, Ironsworn, or Yggdrasill. Our heroes are looking for an epic weapon to be forged for them by a famous smith. The catch? The smith needs two ingredients for her ritual: Bog-Iron from the nearby Borremose Bog, and the Ancestors’ Bones for Bone-Coal from graves around the abandoned God-House at Fyrkatborgen. Retrieving both sets of components will be dangerous activities that are fraught with danger and unexpected challenges.
