This game involves a knight and his retinue, who are traveling through various regions seeking quests that will benefit them personally or help their cause (such as defeating an evil sorcerer). They encounter Servants along the way whose loyalty can be traded for benefits in later areas. The Knight has ultimate authority but must act with discretion to avoid tipping over into tyranny and abuse of power by being too controlling, while his retinue provide support through diplomacy skills or sabotage when necessary. THE AUTHOR'S NOTE: This game was inspired by a challenge where the GM is also playing as an NPC character in order for this player-GM dynamic to come about during gameplay development; it eventually turned out that creating such dynamics can be challenging and require careful consideration of power balances, but there's definitely some interesting potential here. ILLUSTRATIONS: The illustrations were created by Kaki using images from the internet or open source software like GIMP.
