NetWhere centers around a group of Hacker characters who are driven by their desire for knowledge, adventure, challenge, danger, excitement, immersion/theater-quality gaming experiences & virtual reality environments (like The Matrix), exploring the boundary between real and unreal worlds through various game mechanics such as puzzles, traps, AI agents controlled via VR controllers or mobile devices. NetWhere is a multi-session roleplaying game where players explore augmented realities with their skills in hacking codes/devices to gain access to alternate dimensions of reality (e.g., from the Matrix), evade capture by mysterious forces and find truth about humanity's origins before it disappears into another dimension, all while engaging in virtual social interactions & real relationships as they navigate a changing world filled with intrigue, danger, deception, technology advancements that have left them feeling both scared and empowered to protect their newfound knowledge.
