The Nightmare War ends as surviving Dream Guards make their final stand against a horde of invading nightmares in this adventure for 4-5 players set during the war's last day with 20 new Toy & Guard paths to create unique dream guards.The story follows three protagonists, each one representing different characters from the game world and struggling through personal turmoil over past conflicts that led them into conflict with their enemies: a man haunted by his traumatic experience in battle who is now plagued by nightmares of death; an old soldier whose conscience haunts him after serving years ago for reasons unknown until he learns too late about those close to whom he wronged.The main protagonist, the player-character (PC) at some point must choose between going back and redeeming themselves or taking their chances with fate's hand in fighting on. The PC will be a Dream Guard recruited into an army of guardians that protects the dream lands from evil forces such as dragons and demons attempting to destroy what they hold dear: peace, prosperity, stability — all at any cost if necessary for the sake
