The G.A.S. (Generic As Shit) is a tabletop role-playing game system that offers itself as an "alternative" to old systems covered by ridiculously restrictive licenses.This entire document is based on the following axiom: the rules of an RPG cannot be copyrighted. This is because the rules of a game are functional in nature and are intended as a set of instructions on how to play. Copyright law only protects original creative expressions, such as text, and does not extend to functional works such as game rules. Take and modify the document as you wish. If, on the other hand, you have suggestions or corrections to report, please do so and we will modify the document as soon as possible.
