Celestial Bodies is a tabletop role-playing game for three players that explores themes of colonialism, culture, bodies, receiving violence from others or committing it oneself, struggling to shape events far larger than the individual's experience in history classes through predetermined steps and stages where your characters' reactions can be contextualized. The story follows an elliptical path as you choose how their return home looks like after leaving Earth for a time while fleeing persecution on the run with other members of a ragtag fleet, eventually being drawn back to earth by gravity's pull due to all they left behind and experiencing different forms of resistance against authority before escaping again. The game draws inspiration from podcasts such as Friends at Table; Heaven Will Be Mine (Worst Girl Games), Downfall: Fall of Magic, Follow, Mobile Frame Zero - Firebbrandsh, Written & Art by Tomas Herbertson / Sasha Reneau with Editing and Publishing Assistants Basin Herbertson and Emily Anzalone.
