Grandpa is going to tell the Kids a story, trying to get an emotional reaction out of them. Whether or not Grandpa succeeds will be determined by the faces the Kids make. A cooperative party game for 2-? players, with modes for in-person and videochat play. Designed for the Global Game Jam 2023 using the theme Roots and the diversifier Express Yourself (“Make a game in which the main input(s) are done through facial expression”). Special thanks to the Harrisburg U Game Jam Crew, whose Friday night brainstorms inspired this little game. The cover image is, in fact, my great-grandpa, falling asleep as he holds my sister (looking at the camera) and me.
