AGE RANGE that this game targets Ages 4-6 (pre-K to 1st grade) SUBJECT & SKILLS the game will help players learn Reading and writing sight words NUMBER of students/players  For individuals or as a full class PLAYTIME required for a full game  30 minutes per section broken into 9 sections RULES are designed for easy, intuitive play  A grown up  is required to read the story but no additional prep is required. In The Word Wizard, kids will learn 60 words through a combination of story interaction, tracing, and sounding out to both progress the story and cast spells! Kids will explore The Enchanted Forrest, deliver a pie to a dragon, delve into mysterious mazes, meet The Spelling Bees, and take on a sticky mess of random letters that they can turn into spells with their, then honed, Word Wizard powers! There’s a spell for each letter of the alphabet, lots of sight words to try out, and a big word at the end of each section to practice new and interesting sounds and words. This set of worksheets comes as a print-and-play workbook so kids can practice writing on the sheets and color the spell page pictures after casting a spell.
