The game Dead Man's Hand is about being an adventurer in the American Old West trying to find one specific tale that fits your life. You play as "a collector of stories" by traveling across America and interacting with different characters who all have their own tales for you, from mundane experiences up through divine encounters along the way. The game involves playing cards (the story's beginning), flipping them over at a certain number to determine how many people are involved in that particular moment, as well as what those stories might be about based on which card is drawn first and second by players.
