This Virgin Land of Ours is a submission to the 2019 Mapemounde Game Jam hosted by Mammut RPG. It is a map game inspired by Avery Alder's The Quiet Year. You create your community by drawing cards with words, definitions and prompts on them and drawing on the map. In the second phase of the game, your community is faced with a colonizing people who will take control of many of the aspects of the land and your culture. Printing instructions: there are separate versions for A4 and letter paper. It is designed to be printed in "Actual size" and two-sided with "flip on short edge". For best results, print on heavier paper so the cards don't come out too flimsy.
